Dark radiators have a longer service life than conventional heat lamps. They are also 100% efficient, as all the energy is converted into heat. No energy is lost, as would be the case, for example, if converted into light.
Always use the dark radiator in combination with a ceramic socket, as heat lamps get very hot. Dark radiators can also be used in combination with an aluminum reflector, which ensures better heat distribution and reduces heat loss upwards.
