The TAMIYA truck for tough construction site use! The Mercedes Benz Acros 4151 8x4 is a true heavyweight on the construction site. TAMIYA modified the proven chassis for this truck: The truck has four axles, just like the original. The two rear axles are driven by a powerful 540 electric motor. The two front axles are controlled by a servo (sold separately). The steering angle of the two axles is different, ensuring true-to-original handling.

The frame features a subframe to accommodate the newly designed tipping trough. The trough has been reinforced with a metal subframe and can be controlled via the optional TAMIYA ACU-01 unit (56545).

The unmistakable design of the new Arocs is as extraordinary as the truck itself. For the look, specially developed for construction vehicles, a radiator grille with an excavator tooth design was installed, conveying the message: "Bite through and grab hold." In keeping with the robust appearance, special protective grilles for the lighting system are attached to the bumper.

With the 667 mm long and approximately 4 kg heavy kit model, impressive combinations can be assembled. The proven and robust TAMIYA truck technology is found beneath the forward-tilting driver's cab. A new Mighty-Tuned 35T electric motor delivers its power to the two rear axles via a switchable 3-speed transmission. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility.

A tow bar (e.g. Carson 500907182) can be attached to the rear of the frame and used to pull trailers.

With the optionally available multifunction unit, almost all of the original's sound and light functions can be simulated deceptively realistically.
