Set for the cost-effective manual reconditioning of age-related yellowed and dulled plastic headlight covers. In 2 simple steps, yellowing, dullness, and fine scratches are removed before the treated surfaces are permanently sealed and protected from further fading. This application restores the original clarity of the headlights. In addition to the more attractive appearance of the headlights and an increase in the value of the entire vehicle, the improved light output ensures greater driving safety through better seeing and being seen. For 2 applications, each for 2 headlights.

• In addition to improving the appearance of the headlights and increasing the value of the entire vehicle, the improved light output ensures greater driving safety through better seeing and being seen.

Application

• Before starting, wash the surfaces to be treated with SONAX Shine Shampoo.
• Then mask off the edges of the hood, fender, radiator grille, and bumper.
• Stick the slightly coarser P3000 sanding discs (colorless adhesive backing) onto the enclosed gray sanding disc holder, moisten them with water, and sand the headlights with light pressure until an even, slightly matte surface has formed.
• Repeatly moisten the surface with water.
• Then remove any sanding residue with one of the enclosed polishing pads.
• Then repeat the process with the ultra-fine P5000 sanding discs (red adhesive side).

• Apply SONAX Headlight Polish to the white side of the enclosed polishing sponge and polish the headlight surface with medium pressure until the dullness is removed.
• Add more polish as needed.
• For inspection and at the end of the polishing process, wipe off any polish residue with a polishing pad.

• Tear open a sachet of headlight sealant and pour the liquid inside onto a polishing pad.
• Rub the already smoothed and polished surfaces with the damp cloth and, after briefly allowing to dry, wipe again with a clean, dry polishing pad.
• One sachet is sufficient for 2 headlights.
