With the decking drilling template, you can build a dream deck yourself, without visible screws and annoying wood splinters on the surface. Concealed decking systems often use complicated plastic or metal clamps that require a lot of effort to install.
The Kreg® Decking Drilling Template, on the other hand, is very easy to use yet very stable, as the decking boards are attached to the substructure with screws. Decking boards from 19 mm - 38 mm can be installed with the appropriate screws.
Hardened guide sleeves allow for precise positioning of the pocket holes and, at the same time, precisely guide the decking screws to securely and invisibly secure the boards to the sides. The Kreg® Decking Guide has a total of three of these guides – one at 90° to the board edge and two at opposing 45° angles – allowing boards to be screwed close to walls or firmly screwed into butt joints. After drilling, the screw – an essential component of the system – can simply be inserted into the same guide and driven directly using the included bit.
