Compared to other control methods, the electric snail fence is harmless to humans and animals!

The operating principle: The live fence tape forms an insurmountable barrier for all types of snails in the home garden. The fence tape has two parallel, electrically conductive contact strips. If the snail makes a connection between the two contact strips while attempting to cross the fence tape, a small current flows briefly. Due to the low fence voltage of 9 volts (block battery), the snails are not harmed; they merely feel an unpleasant tingling sensation and are immediately prompted to turn around. The effect is imperceptible and completely harmless to other animals and humans.

The self-adhesive fence tape can be easily and permanently attached to almost all types of surfaces (wood, metal, plastic, stone, concrete) and can be shortened as needed. The fence tape can be easily extended using a 10 m fence tape (291128) or 20 m fence tape (291129) and the fence tape connectors (291127). Connecting the fence tapes to the power supply requires no prior knowledge. The contact clip, which is connected to the power supply, connects the fence tape and supplies it with power.

Two control LEDs allow for reliable monitoring of the battery status and power supply. Using the bed connector (accessory: 291126), several beds can also be operated with a single power supply. This allows the fence to be extended to a maximum total length of 30 m.
