Function:
- The roller collector consists of a drum made of flexible stainless steel wires. This drum is pushed across the floor.
- If it encounters resistance, such as a nut, the wire is pushed apart.
- The nut slides from the floor into the interior of the drum due to the counterpressure.
- The wire moves back to its original position and closes the drum again. This prevents the nut from falling out.
- To empty the drum, the wire is pushed apart again and the contents fall out. However, there are also roller collectors that have a separate emptying opening.
