The head tube of the SUPERCRAFT hammers is filled with steel shot. This ensures that the shot fill is delayed when the striking face hits the workpiece. The reduced rebound allows for optimal utilization of the impact energy. This enables very powerful strikes. Furthermore, working with SUPERCRAFT hammers is significantly safer, gentler on the joints, and quieter than with conventional steel hammers. The replaceable impact inserts offer outstanding impact properties and guarantee maximum strength with the highest durability. They are made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, they are significantly more wear-resistant and durable, and won't splinter even at subzero temperatures. The three-component handle contains a shatter-proof, flexible fiberglass core, coated with ergonomically shaped polypropylene and an elastomer layer that ensures a secure grip even with oily and greasy hands. The durable powder coating on the head protects against corrosion. All welds are completely robot-welded. An extremely tight and high-quality welded connection between the impact plate and the hammer head prevents the shot from escaping, even under maximum load.
