This paste, made from natural ingredients, cares for and maintains the pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) of Petromax Dutch Ovens, cast-iron Dutch Ovens, and pans. It is also ideal for seasoning non-pre-treated cast-iron Dutch Ovens.
This food-safe paste provides optimal care when applied after each cooking session with the Dutch Oven. This preserves the pre-treated surface of the Petromax Dutch Oven. At the same time, the care paste protects the Dutch Oven from rust and unwanted food sticking.
Use as a seasoning paste
The paste is also suitable for the initial or repeated seasoning of Dutch Ovens. The baking process with the care paste also allows for the targeted removal of any rust spots.
Ingredients:
Made from pure natural products, food-safe, vegan, gluten-free, Paraffinum subliquidum Ph. Eur., virgin oil components, triglyceride oils, base oil mixture with ionic liquid, color, and weight additives. Store in a dark, cool, and sealed container.
