This wire rope hoist was specially designed for use in industry, particularly civil engineering, overhead line construction, shipbuilding, oil refineries, etc. The wire rope hoist is virtually maintenance-free – handling is light, simple, and safe.
The standard equipment includes the wire rope hoist with hand lever and an original PLANETA wire rope with a steel core.
Each wire rope hoist is overload-tested and delivered with a test certificate stating the serial number. PLANETA wire rope hoists are certified and approved by a large number of national and international authorities.
Processing and Equipment
Low-wear, parallel, large-surface clamping jaw pairs protect the traction rope by applying even surface load. The large stroke enables high operating speeds.
Stability is ensured by smooth, large-surface floor supports in both horizontal and vertical operating positions.
Rope feed lever and retraction lever on one level enable a narrow design and guarantee a centralized power flow.
Overload protection is provided by a shear pin in the feed lever. Spare pins are located in the hand lever handle or carrying handle and can be replaced without relieving the load on the traction rope.
