Primer, gray, 1 liter

• Quick-drying and easy to apply
• One-component primer based on alkyd resin
• Offers good corrosion protection
• Can be painted over with all 1K TRACTOL topcoats

Application method: Conventional spraying, airless and airmix spraying, brushing and rolling. Adjust the spray viscosity with a maximum of 10% thinner. Thinning is usually not necessary for airless application. To achieve optimal paintwork, pressure and nozzle should be adjusted to the respective conditions.

Drying times at 65% rel. Humidity:

Temperature Straubdry:                  

• + 10 ° C = approx. 1 hour
• + 20 ° C = approx hours

Temperature recoatability:

• + 10°C = approx. 2 hours
• + 20°C = approx. 1.5 hours
• + 30°C = approx. 45 minutes

During application, the object temperature must be at least 3°C ​​above the dew point.

Surface preparation: Surfaces to be coated must be free of dust, rust, mill scale, oil, salt, moisture and other contaminants. TRACTOL Primer can be applied to surfaces coated with shopprimer or directly onto steel.

Recommended paint system: 1 x TRACTOL Primer + 1 - 2 x TRACTOL Color Coat

Overcoatability: TRACTOL Primer can be overcoated with itself or other topcoats.
