- For direct mounting on the cylinder valve
- Ideal accessory: Gas cylinder key (CFH No. 52419/ WWC 971307)
The pressure regulator with EFV flow monitor and pressure gauge (rotatable) is ideal for LPG with unregulated inlet pressure and a fixed outlet pressure. The pressure regulator is a single-stage low-pressure regulator for LPG. It is screwed directly onto the cylinder valve.
The EFV flow monitor (Excess Flow Valve) is a safety device that automatically shuts off the gas supply if the pressure is too low (for example, due to a hose leak or a hose rupture). The pressure regulator has a control display (rotatable pressure gauge) for the gas cylinder fill level and for leak testing. The glass flow closes automatically when the flow rate is >110% of the pressure regulator's setpoint. This can be triggered, for example, by a hose rupture. In this case, the gas cylinder valve must be closed. The cylinder valve may not be reopened until the cause of the triggering has been eliminated. The gas flow is automatically restored by closing the gas supply.
Leak test using the pressure gauge:
- Ensure that the cylinder valve is closed.
- Close all valves on the consumer device.
- Open the cylinder valve.
- Wait a few seconds until the pressure regulator and gas hose are filled with gas and then close the cylinder valve.
- Observe the reading on the pressure gauge for 2 minutes.
- If the needle does not move, the connection is tight.
- If the needle moves towards the yellow or red area, the connecting parts are leaking.
- If necessary, tighten the connecting parts and repeat the leak test.
Using the pressure gauge to assess the fill level in the gas cylinder:
The The pressure gauge shows the residual pressure in the gas cylinder. This allows you to estimate the gas cylinder's fill level. Please note that the pressure depends not primarily on the quantity but also on the temperature of the gas.
To estimate the gas level, read the display as follows:
- Green: Sufficient gas level for use for more than 2 hours.
- Yellow: First warning - the gas level is low, sufficient for a maximum of 1-2 hours of operation (depending on the device's set power).
- Red: The gas cylinder is empty and no liquid gas remains.
NOTE:
- For outdoor use only!
- Never use indoors!
- Not for use in caravans or motorhomes! Read the instructions for use before use.
- Observe the instructions for use of the consumer device.
