Diesel locomotive Vs 72 (ex 2095 004) of the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn.
The 2095 series locomotives, acquired from 1958 onwards, formed the backbone of the ÖBB's diesel-powered narrow-gauge lines for decades. On July 1, 2008, the state of Salzburg took over the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn from the ÖBB and with it some of the 600 hp, 60 km/h engines. The diesel locomotives are used on the "Krimmler Bahn" for freight trains and cycle tourist trains.
