New and sensational. This fire extinguishing granulate is the perfect solution for safely storing and extinguishing lithium polymer batteries in the event of a fire. The cushion solution is perfect for transporting or charging LiPo batteries. Place it over the battery while charging, and you have effective and good fire protection. When shipping LiPo batteries, simply wrap it neatly around the battery, and you no longer have to worry.

With Extron fire extinguishing granulate, you are perfectly prepared for all lithium fires in your workshop. Should a battery ignite, you can extinguish it quickly, safely, and, above all, cleanly with the granulate!

The granulate is gently applied to the fire. The expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire and extinguishes it. At particularly high temperatures, the expanded glass melts and spreads across the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight seal that encrustates upon cooling, extinguishing the metal fire. Reignition is effectively prevented.

Extinguishing agents are designed to extinguish burning materials, taking into account their fire class and the surrounding environment. They are used by fire departments or in automatic fire extinguishing systems. They are also kept in mobile units for self-help purposes.

Our fire extinguishing granules are suitable for Class D and lithium ion fire loads. Problematic fire loads such as metal fires, battery fires, lithium fires, or flammable liquids can be controlled and extinguished with the granules without causing damage to the extinguishing agent.

The extinguishing effect of the granules in metal fires was tested and confirmed by the MPA Dresden using a sodium and magnesium fire.
