- Pre-drilled holes Raised beds make growing vegetables and herbs easier because they eliminate the need to constantly bend down while gardening. They also lead to a noticeable increase in yield, as they create optimal soil conditions for the plants. Made from the extremely weather-resistant Zincalume®, the Terra raised bed, unlike wooden beds, requires no inner liner: It doesn't react with organic materials such as soil and plants, so it isn't damaged by them, doesn't release harmful substances, and is tasteless. The Vitavia Terra raised bed also impresses with its modern appearance and a wide range of expansion options and shapes: The individual modules supplied in the kit are pre-bent, and the connectors are pre-drilled. Size and shape can be freely combined using the Terra BASIC raised bed, the straight Terra STRETCHED raised bed extension, and the curved Terra CURVE raised bed extension. The Terra ROUND raised bed is the smallest version and can also be used as a decorative planter. The freely combinable modules mean there are virtually no limits to the design possibilities. Two straight components (Terra STRETCHED extension) can be placed next to each other between the two round end elements and after each Terra CURVE extension. The raised bed is also ideal for separating garden areas or as a privacy screen. The Terra ROUND, Terra BASIC, and the Terra STRETCHED extension are available in three different heights: Blank, Granite, and Ruby. At heights of 40 and 63 cm, the raised beds are also perfect for use as a children's bed, planter, greenhouse, or decorative garden design. The standard height of 86 cm is also available in black.
