In addition to its design, this simple dart boasts excellent flight characteristics, which are exceptional for this price range. The heart of this dart is the silver barrel. The surface of this barrel is designed to guarantee optimal grip, while still allowing the dart to easily release from the hand during throwing, thus reducing tearing.
The center of gravity of each barrel has been shifted a few millimeters toward the tip, shifting the center of gravity of the Artos, including the attached shaft and flight, back to the center of the barrel. This balanced Artos gives it a smoother flight path and reduced dispersion. The poly shaft, including the aluminum ring, weighs 1.2g and measures exactly 48mm in length. The Artos is complemented by a metrixx flight in the standard A-shape.
This flight shape offers an extra-large surface area of 47.033 sq cm. The flight thickness is 150 microns, resulting in a flight weight of 0.7g. The Artos is available as a steel tip dart in 22g and 24g weights, and as a soft tip dart, it weighs 18g. Artos is available in mint, copper, and red.
