The DS 230/E scroll saw from PROXXON is the right tool for fine work.

Cuts softwood up to 40 mm, hardwood up to 10 mm, plastic (including circuit boards) up to approx. 4 mm, and non-ferrous metals up to 2 mm.
Planed die-cast aluminum worktop (160 x 160 mm).
Very stable saw frame made of cross-ribbed die-cast aluminum (300 mm reach).
Blade guide with integrated blower device. Height-adjustable head (3 positions) for two key advantages: - The service life of the saw blades is tripled after two shortenings (utilization of the teeth even in the middle range).
- In the lowest position, even more precise work can be achieved with a blade shortened by 60 mm. Durable, quiet, and stable AC motor. Low-noise and wear-resistant drive via toothed belt. Longitudinal stop and angle stop with scale.
