The drilling aid is conical in shape. It has an external thread with which it is screwed into the existing drill hole. It is secured with the screw-in aid. This ensures that the drilling aid sits securely in the drill hole, even when working overhead. The center drill of the hole saw is inserted into the center-seated steel bushing of the drilling aid. This gives the hole saw the necessary guidance, and the new hole is centered and aligned with the existing hole. After drilling, the drilling aid can be removed. The existing drill hole can now be enlarged in a perfectly centered manner - the hole is exactly where it should be.
