The new R-Cam 100 from Rollei requires no special setup; its plug-and-play functionality means it's ready for immediate use in your home office. Simply plug the camera's USB port into your computer's USB slot, and you're ready to go.

You'll also be impressed by the video quality, as the camera offers excellent Full HD transmission in 1080p at a whopping 30 frames per second. You get a camera with a fixed-focus lens and a field of view of 85 degrees. Fixed focus means that the camera image is sharp over a large area.

Protecting your privacy is particularly important to us. For this reason, we've attached a lens cover to the camera that you can easily fold down when you're not using your webcam. This ensures that strangers won't see anything if unauthorized access is attempted. You can also monitor the operation of your webcam with an LED that indicates whether the camera is currently in use or not.

To allow you to attach the R-Cam to your computer monitor (without scratching it), we've added a rubber coating to the mount. This also prevents slipping, ensuring the camera stays exactly where it should be. How far your PC is from the screen only plays a limited role, as the R-Cam's cable is 1.5 meters long.

If you don't want to attach the camera to your monitor, we've also attached a ¼-inch tripod mount to its base/clip. This allows you to mount the webcam on a tripod, for example.

The R-Cam itself has built-in microphones, so you don't have to buy one separately to use it. As mentioned at the beginning: plug in and off you go.
