With the Mercedes-Benz Actros 3363 6x4 GigaSpace, TAMIYA is expanding its RC truck series with another German 3-axle tractor. With the 538 mm long and approximately 3 kg model, impressive combinations can be assembled. The tried-and-tested, robust TAMIYA truck technology is located beneath the forward-tilting cab. A powerful electric motor transmits its power to the two rear axles via a switchable 3-speed manual transmission. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility. Thanks to its high weight and a fifth wheel plate, the Mercedes-Benz Actros 3363 can be coupled with numerous TAMIYA and CARSON-MODEL SPORT trailers. The multifunction unit can simulate almost all of the original's sound and light functions. The original is powered by a 15.6-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel engine (Euro 6 Bluetec) with 463 kW (630 hp) and can transport loads of up to 250 tons. The Mercedes-Benz Actros 2 made its debut in 2011 and was voted "Truck of the Year" in 2012.
