Fast Wi-Fi AC + N

The FRITZ!Repeater 1200 operates with two Wi-Fi bands that are used intelligently in parallel: through automatic band selection (dynamic cross-band repeating), the FRITZ!Repeater 1200 always selects the most efficient path to the router and the connected Wi-Fi devices, ensuring that all connections in the home network achieve high data rates. This enables demanding Wi-Fi scenarios to be implemented.

Perfect in a Mesh Wi-Fi Network

In combination with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 1200 becomes part of a powerful mesh network. In a Mesh Wi-Fi network, several distributed Wi-Fi nodes (e.g., a FRITZ!Box and a FRITZ!Repeater) are combined into a single intelligent Wi-Fi network. The FRITZ!Box actively controls all access points so that Wi-Fi devices used in the home network are always connected to the access point with the best connection (Mesh Wi-Fi Steering). Streaming, gaming, and downloads reach every corner of every room seamlessly. The entire Wi-Fi network conveniently has just one name and one password, and is securely encrypted.
