Thermal weed control offers an effective alternative to chemical weed killers for controlling the undesirable growth around the house. Chemical weed killers are not permitted on paved surfaces such as garage driveways or sidewalks, and the applied chemicals cannot seep through the ground on enclosed surfaces and, in the worst case, are fed unfiltered into the sewer system during the next rainstorm.

GLORIA offers an effective alternative: The Thermoflamm bio Fix uses a heating coil heated to up to 800°C and is ready for use within 30 seconds. Rapid work progress is guaranteed thanks to the large radiation area of ​​150 cm². This allows you to work up to four times faster with the Thermoflamm bio fix than with existing gas cartridge devices. Optimized heat protection and effective weed treatment are ensured thanks to an integrated heat shield and stainless steel reflectors.

The device is placed directly on the plant for a few seconds during use. The heat causes the cell fluid to coagulate down to the root system. The expansion of the cell fluid bursts the cell walls, causing the plant to dry out on its own within the following days. Completely burning the plant is not necessary.

After the work is done, the Thermoflamm bio Fix is ​​placed in the included aluminum cooling bracket. This allows the device to cool down without anyone accidentally touching the hot wire and getting burned.
