Each tow bar can be installed on your own vehicle using the enclosed installation instructions.
Thanks to the EC approval, which all tow bar types from WESTFALIA-Automotive have, there is no registration requirement and therefore no additional costs for TÜV inspection are incurred.
Each tow bar is protected against weather and environmental influences by a special dipping process, cathodic dip painting.
The scope of delivery of the tow bar includes all screws, cables, plugs, etc. necessary for installation and the installation instructions.
Special features:
W211 not for AMG vehicles, also for 4-Matic. If not present, additional reinforcement struts must be installed on the left and right sides of the trunk. These can be purchased from your DC dealer, DC No. A2116390143 and A2116390443. Installing the above-mentioned struts will cause the trim panels to no longer fit. Depending on the equipment line, various trim panels can be purchased from your DC dealer, e.g., A2116909425 / 9825. The cooling fan motor must have a minimum power of 600 W. Fan motors A0015004493 and A2115000693 meet these requirements.
