The plug-in outdoor heating cable meets the requirements of strength class M2 according to IEC60800:2009, which means that, unlike other heating cables, it is approved for outdoor use in wind and weather.

Thanks to its high heat output of 20 watts per meter, the outdoor heating cable keeps gutters, downpipes, pipes, planters and the like frost-free even at very low temperatures. Large potted plants can be safely brought through the winter with the help of the outdoor heating cable and a weatherproof cover or hemp mats.

The integrated temperature switch reliably switches the heating cable on at a temperature of +3 °C and off again at +12 °C.

Note:

Please note that each heating cable connection must be protected by a separate residual current device. The heating cable must be protected from sharp edges, e.g., at the transition from the gutter to the downpipe, by using edge protection. The heating cable must not touch, overlap, or cross itself or any other heating cable at any point. To permanently prevent contact, the use of suitable spacers is recommended. Pipes, metal gutters, conduits, and metal sheathing must be grounded for safety reasons prior to installation.
