Charger for Micro (AAA) or Mignon (AA) NiZn batteries. Multiple overcharge protection through voltage monitoring and a safety timer. Automatic battery full detection guarantees optimal charging results. The new NiZn charger can charge up to four NiZn batteries of Micro AA and/or Mignon AAA sizes, even mixed. The battery charge level before charging is irrelevant. Defective or upside-down NiZn batteries, as well as NiMH/NiCd batteries, are automatically detected and will not be charged.
Many device manufacturers point out that their applications only work with 1.5V alkaline batteries and warn against the use of NiMH batteries, whose voltage of 1.2V is too low for proper function. Such devices can be safely operated with nickel-zinc batteries, which have a voltage of 1.6V per cell. This eliminates the need to constantly buy disposable batteries and saves money.
