The carbon monoxide alarm has an electrochemical sensor for measuring the CO concentration in the air. The sensor checks the CO concentration in the air every 4 seconds and triggers an alarm as soon as a value is reached. of more than 43 ppm is measured.
The digital LCD display shows the carbon monoxide concentration in ppm and provides symbolic instructions for "ventilate" or "leave the room".
