The M4700 delivers electric shocks to the marten when it touches one of the 6 contact plates in the engine compartment (electric shocks that only scare the marten away, but do not kill it). The stainless steel contact plates can be placed anywhere, creating flexible shielding tailored to the specific vehicle.

In addition, the control unit emits very powerful, aggressively pulsating ultrasonic tones within a 360° radius. These tones vary randomly in frequency and cadence (therefore no habituation effect).

The waterproof design allows for deep installation at the entry points. The innovative automatic voltage circuit automatically starts the device as soon as the engine is switched off.

The complex connection to terminal 15 is no longer necessary.

Simple 2-pin connection, which saves considerable installation time. The device can be expanded with 4 contact plates if necessary (accessories).

The basic device is mounted in a location in the car where it does not get too hot and from where the ultrasonic sounds can radiate freely.

The positive cable with the built-in fuse holder is connected to "+ 12 V". The ground cable is connected to the vehicle ground or "- 12 V". The high-voltage cable is routed in the engine compartment so that the contact plates can be mounted in the areas most vulnerable to bites.

The contact plates are attached to the plastic holder with two screws. By screwing in the screws, the high-voltage cable is "tapped" and contact is established. The plastic holders are movable on the high-voltage cable and can be fixed anywhere.

NOTE: Ultrasound is inaudible to humans. The functionality is indicated by the flashing LED Average current consumption: < 7 mA (± 20 %)
