Dirty water pumps are used when heavily contaminated liquids need to be removed, e.g., after severe flooding, in polluted ponds or cisterns, or when draining excavations. Then they have to move not only water but also dirt particles. This significantly increases the strain on the material and the motor's performance.

It's good if it's an AL-KO pump. Thanks to its large intake opening, the DRAIN 7000 model easily handles even heavily contaminated water with grain sizes up to 30 mm. The AL-KO DRAIN 7000 submersible dirty water pump is the affordable entry into the world of dirty water pumps. Nevertheless, you get a thoroughly impressive powerhouse: A maintenance-free motor, the specially treated stainless steel motor shaft, and the glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene housing guarantee a long service life for AL-KO dirty water pumps.

Thanks to the practical, integrated carrying handle and the 10 m long power cable, as well as its low weight of only around 4.4 kg, the dirty water pump can be used mobile or stationary for drainage – including clear water, of course. However, thanks to its compact dimensions of 21.3 x 15.2 x 30.8 cm and its durable housing and long-lasting pump motor, it is also ideally suited as a rain barrel pump. The AL-KO DRAIN 7000 Classic submersible pump can easily handle even coarser dirt in the water, thanks to the extra-large intake openings.

The specially treated motor shaft, made of durable stainless steel, and the glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene housing ensure a long service life for this practical helper. With its 350 W power and a flow rate of up to 7,000 l/h, emptying and transferring water is completed in no time. The AL-KO DRAIN 7000 Classic submersible pump is equipped with a float switch and starts the pumping process independently thanks to the automatic level control. It is designed for immersion depths of up to 5 m. With a discharge head of up to 6 m, even greater depths can be managed. The pump outlet measures 1.25 inches, which corresponds to approximately 41.9 mm. The 90° angled connection features a universal connector, and the included combination nipple allows connection to all standard hose sizes.

Note: The submersible pump is not suitable for drinking water, but only for domestic water below 35°C. It is also not suitable for use in salt water, water containing aggressive chemicals, or water containing sand.
