Which transformer should I choose?
"If you want to operate a drinking trough with 80 W power (P ), a 100 W transformer (No. 844216) is sufficient. If you also want to connect a 24 V heating cable, simply add the power consumption (= wattage) of the cable. This gives you the required minimum power of the transformer. Do not size the transformer too precisely, to have a buffer for expansions.”
