The MXS 5.0 is a charger equipped with state-of-the-art technology previously reserved only for CTEK professional devices. The charger solves a wide range of battery problems; it is the perfect charger for users with the highest demands. The MXS 5.0 offers a range of features, such as battery diagnostics that indicate whether the battery can accept and retain a charge, a special reconditioning function that restores deeply discharged batteries with acid stratification, a unique maintenance charge function, a mode for optimized charging on cold winter days, and the ability to charge demanding AGM batteries (e.g., Optima). The unique display allows the user to follow the entire charging process.

Temperature-compensated charging: The battery is charged even more optimally by adjusting the final charging voltage to the temperature. At higher temperatures, the voltage is slightly lower, and at lower temperatures, the voltage is slightly higher.
