Recycled cartridges are fully compatible with the original product and have at least the same, but usually higher, capacity, as the cartridges - unlike the original - are completely filled. Empty original cartridges are cleaned, wear parts are replaced, and the cartridge is refilled with high-quality ink and tested.
Many printers recognize that the cartridge is already used and immediately indicate it as empty, but continue printing without issues. However, in some cases, devices with fax functionality have encountered the problem that incoming faxes from recycled cartridges that are recognized as empty cannot be printed, but are stored in memory—all other functions work perfectly. Since there is currently no solution to the problem described, owners of such multifunction devices are left with the option of using original cartridges, at least temporarily, to print their faxes.
