Each tow bar can be installed on your own vehicle using the enclosed installation instructions.
Thanks to the EC approval, which all tow bar types from WESTFALIA-Automotive have, there is no registration requirement and therefore no additional costs for the TÜV inspection.
Each tow bar is protected against weather and environmental influences by a special dipping process, cathodic dip painting.
Included in the scope of delivery The trailer hitch includes all the screws, cables, connectors, etc. necessary for installation, as well as the installation instructions.
Trailer hitch special features:
Not for AMG vehicles, including 4-Matic. If not already installed, additional reinforcement struts must be installed on the left and right sides of the trunk. These can be purchased from your DC dealer. Installing the struts will cause the trim panels to no longer fit. Depending on the equipment line, different trim panels can be purchased from your DC dealer. The cooling fan motor must have a minimum power of 600 W.
