The turbomax® high energy series was developed in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg State Sheep Breeders' Association, taking into account the requirements for wolf-repellent sheep nets. The turbomax high energy sheep nets were specially developed for use on rough terrain and are significantly lighter than comparable sheep nets. The rigid vertical strands virtually eliminate the usual sagging of the net between the posts.

With the turbomax® high energy braided sheep net, horizont is introducing an extension of its successful series, using braided strands for the first time in a sheep net. Unlike conventional nets, the conductive material in the braided strand is woven into the PE plastic monofilaments. This provides excellent wear protection for the conductor material and improves the tensile strength of the net. Likewise, the braided strand reduces tangling when pulling or carrying, making it easier for the shepherd to set up and take down the net. The turbomax® high energy braided is equipped with an earth wire in the lowest strand to ensure the best possible herding safety, even in dry conditions. For optimal stability and easier insertion into the ground, the sheep net has a double spike. The net is suitable for both mobile and semi-permanent use.

This is a professional net with a height of 105 cm and a length of 50 m, which in this version features an additional ground wire. This means that the lower strand is equipped with stainless steel and copper conductors, which effectively reduces ground resistance. The return current is conducted along the net to the device.

The stainless steel and copper conductors, whose combination offers excellent performance, contribute to even greater safety. Due to the good conductivity of 0.33 ohms per meter, you can operate several nets with one device and thus securely fence in a larger area.

The 14 sturdy plastic posts with double spikes (155 mm long and 6.5 mm thick) ensure firm footing even under high wind loads or in loose soil. The white color of the strands and posts makes them clearly visible even at dusk, preventing wild animals and farm animals from accidentally passing through and damaging the net.

The 60% reinforced bottom and top strands of the sheep netting also ensure high load-bearing capacity when tensioning the nets. The low weight is also advantageous during transport and installation.

The innovative sheep netting also consistently supports nature conservation. Small animals such as frogs, hares, or pheasants can slip through the lower meshes, as these are larger at 20 x 30 cm than conventional nets. This means they remain unharmed, while the protection of the fenced-in sheep remains unchanged. Furthermore, the larger meshes mean the sheep netting has less contact with potential vegetation and therefore has greater energy dissipation.

Thanks to the optimized mesh spacing throughout the entire net, you can also set up the net in taller grass without causing significant dissipation. Clearing the area is therefore no longer absolutely necessary. Despite its high performance, the net consumes less energy, which also reduces the effort required to recharge the batteries.

The beginning of the net is marked with a differently colored post insulator, so you can quickly find the beginning when setting up the nets and the net cannot become tangled. The sheep net also features robust stainless steel clips for easy connection from net to net without additional tools or loose parts.

The horizont net is unique in many ways and is a true all-rounder among nets. The additional earth wire on the net, which ensures adequate grounding even in dry conditions, is unique on the market. The net also has larger meshes than conventional nets.

Small animals such as frogs, pheasants, or hedgehogs can slip through these meshes. They therefore do not become entangled in the net and remain unharmed, thus enabling horizont to consistently support sustainable nature conservation. The turbomax® high energy braided plus earth net is also one of the sheep nets tested by the Baden-Württemberg State Sheep Breeders' Association.

The net is particularly recommended by the association for warding off wolves. With a height of 105 cm, it complies with the funding guidelines and specifications of at least 90 cm in height and thus provides reliable protection.
