This trivet, elaborately felted in Nepal from thick, stringed felt balls, protects your valuable work surfaces and tables from heat and scratches. It is the ideal trivet for pots, pans, jugs, and carafes. The decorative Lana trivet by Cilio also supports a social project near Kathmandu. Here, women handcraft each trivet according to time-honored traditions. The heat-resistant, washable sheep's wool is sustainably treated with azo-free dyes. Fair trade criteria are adhered to throughout the entire production process. The project is therefore certified by the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). These fantastic coasters are available in various colors and sizes. They are washable on a wool cycle.
