The Einhell CE-BC 2 M battery charger is an intelligent microprocessor-controlled battery charger for a wide variety of vehicle battery types. Adapted to the technically sophisticated and powerful batteries found in today's vehicles, the battery charger features a range of technical protection and maintenance mechanisms. The focus of development was on fast, gentle charging to ensure the longest possible battery life while maintaining full power. A detailed charge display makes operating the charger easier than with conventional devices. This Einhell all-rounder is suitable for gel batteries, AGM batteries, as well as maintenance-free and low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. The CE-BC 2 M automatically adapts to the battery voltage of 12 V vehicles, and the multi-stage charging cycle of the Einhell battery charger is automatically monitored and adjusted by the microprocessor control. The smart control electronics analyze the connected battery and initiate the appropriate steps depending on its condition. The trickle charge function protects and preserves the battery, ensuring a permanently ideal charge level. This makes the CE-BC 2 M particularly well-suited for seasonal vehicles with long downtimes: Instead of allowing the battery to slowly drain completely and thus risking deep discharge, the battery is gently kept at its optimal level by means of trickle charging. This extends its service life and prevents the costly replacement of a defective vehicle battery. Cars, motorcycles, or scooters are immediately ready for use at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been developed specifically for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. Automatic overcharge, short-circuit, and reverse polarity protection protects both the charger and the battery. The Einhell battery charger meets IP protection class 65, making it dustproof and protected against water jets. The LED battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance the battery's charge level and the charger's current mode. The device distinguishes between charging levels of 25 percent, 50 percent, 75 percent, and 100 percent, as well as 12 V vehicle charging and a "winter mode." A warning light immediately alerts the user to any problems. The fully insulated battery terminals allow for easy and safe connection of the Einhell battery charger. The housing is provided with a hanging eyelet for wall mounting.
