The "C6" is a lathe for precise work, designed not only for the discerning do-it-yourselfer, but also for mechanical workshops, repair shops, laboratories, and training workshops. The machine bed is made of high-quality gray cast iron and is torsionally rigid. The bed guide is prismatically ground, and the longitudinal slide and tailstock are guided on their own tracks. The handwheels have large, rotating scale rings. The main spindle is mounted on tapered roller bearings. An automatic feed ensures precise turning. The machine has right-left rotation and complies with VDE regulations. The 230-volt machines are connected via a protective contact coupling, and the 400-volt machines via a 16 A CEE coupling.
