Water-dilutable, high-quality two-component reactive coating for heavily used surfaces.

Particularly suitable for garage or workshop floors. Also suitable for extreme loads such as forklift traffic.

For indoor use; only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent, as color changes are possible due to UV and weather influences.

Largely resistant to water, gasoline and diesel fuel, road salt, diluted alkalis, weak acids, and household cleaners.

The coverage is 3-5 m² per liter.

The pot life (processing time) of Kronisol Coating is approximately 2.5 hours. The end of the pot life is not visible. Exceeding this time will result in changes in gloss and color, as well as reduced strength and loss of adhesion to the substrate.

The drying time of the floor coating depends on the temperature. The drying times below refer to a temperature of 20°C. If it is colder than 20°C, the drying time will be longer.

Drying Times

• Touch dry after 40-60 minutes
• Can be painted over after 20-24 hours, but preferably 24 hours
• Can be walked on after 7 days
• Can be driven on after 10 days

If the floor is very smooth, it should be sanded. If this is not possible, it should be deacidified. Deacidification means roughening it using chemicals. The floor is coated with a lye, e.g., citric acid.

A primer is not required as a pre-coat. The Kronisol floor coating is water-soluble. It is diluted with water (10-15%) and applied with a brush. After drying, two further undiluted coats are applied.

Note: If there are varying gloss levels on the surface, this has two main causes. Either the pot life has been exceeded, or condensation has formed on the paint due to insufficient ventilation or something similar. Both of these conditions lead to visually dull spots and can also affect the quality.
