The viscoelastic material AktiVlex was originally developed by NASA for astronauts to improve protection against the pressure in spacecraft. Today, the material is successfully used worldwide in comfort mattresses, pillows, and special positioning systems for hospitals and care facilities. The thermoactive material deforms slowly under the pressure of body weight, but does not create pressure peaks. Without pressure, it returns to its original shape. The "AktiVlex" pillow provides optimal support and relief for the neck and shoulder area in their physiologically correct shape.
